The Park’s southernmost neighborhood is a wonderland of activity, relaxation and ecological discovery. Piers 25 and 26 each have a range of offerings, including multiple ways to play, riverfront exploration and education, lounging areas and delicious eats. This portion of the park provides a perfect travel-free escape for locals and an enticing destination for all.

Offering panoramic views of Lower Manhattan and the New York Harbor, Pier 25 sparkles with fun recreational activities for all ages. 

Opened in 2020, Pier 26 introduces Park visitors to the Hudson River environment through design inspired by the historical Hudson River landscape and features plenty of places to play, relax and enjoy amazing views.

You’ll find a meandering boardwalk through native plants, a street-style skatepark, dog run, basketball and tennis courts along this lively stretch of waterfront.

Popular with runners and sunset chasers, Pier 34 is also a place to ponder engineering history and go fishing.

Activities, Attractions & More

Players of all ages are welcome to join a pick-up game or brush up on their layups while enjoying refreshing waterfront breezes.

Led by the crew behind Grand Banks and Atlantic Yachting, the Pier 25 Marina offers a variety of services for boaters in the region.

This “Street-style” skatepark features stairs, ledges and rails that resemble an actual street plaza. Open to all levels of skateboarders and rollerbladers.

Whether you’re interested in taking sailing lessons for the first time, or you’ve been sailing for years, Hudson River Park provides opportunities to get on the water.

Filled with activities for children including swings, climbing structures and water features, children exercise their imaginations and muscles at this urban oasis.

Enjoy a fun day or evening at Manhattan’s only 18-hole miniature golf course. Players of all ages welcome. No reservation required, walk-ins only.

At Pier 25 in Tribeca, Sweet Love Snack Bar offers small items to grab on your way in or out of the course, or to enjoy on your stroll around the riverfront.

Feel the sand between your toes and get a great workout with friends at Hudson River Park’s Pier 25 beach volleyball courts.

At Pier 25 in Tribeca: Grand Banks is a celebrated oyster bar aboard the historic wooden schooner, Sherman Zwicker.

The LILAC, a historic steamship built in 1933 for the US Lighthouse service, docks on the north side of Hudson River Park’s Pier 25.

Deposit your food scraps in the brown bins at the following sites from 7 AM – 7 PM daily.

At Pier 26 in Tribeca: Find stunning views, live grapevines, local ingredients and wine made in the heart of NYC using grapes from the best vineyards in the country at City Vineyard.

The Tide Deck, located at the western edge of Pier 26, is a manufactured rocky salt marsh created to provide an immersive and educational river ecology experience for our park patrons.

Whether you’re a novice or a pro, kayaking on the Hudson River is a great way to spend a day in New York.

Pier 25 & Pier 26 are two of the most popular destinations in the Park for humans and their four-legged friends.

The Tribeca Habitat Enhancement Project is a large-scale restoration initiative in Hudson River Park. This project deployed a variety of habitat features and added an incredible 11 million oysters in the Park’s Estuarine Sanctuary.

This southernmost section of the Park offers visitors a place to explore formal perennial gardens, lush lawns and a meandering boardwalk through native grasses, flowers and trees.

These structures are curved industrial trusses which take on evocative forms related to the estuarine environment of the neighboring river.

Brush up on your jump shot or play a pick-up game with friends at one of three regulation-size public basketball courts.
