Harry Potter's opinion on brewing this potion[src]

TheInvigoration Draught was apotion which presumably boosted the drinker's energy.[1]Fifth-year students ofPotions class were required to brew an Invigoration Draught, which was supposedly rather easy to do when left alone.[1]

History[]

During this assignment,Harry Potter did better than usual in Potions class and felt secure that his correctly-brewed potion would manage to finally earn him an 'E'.ProfessorSeverus Snape, however, had been angered the previous day by Potter and maliciously smashed Harry'sphial ofpotion, thereby making it impossible to mark the potion. When Harry returned to his cauldron to fill a new flask, he discovered thatHermione Granger hadvanished his potion, having believed him to be finished with it.[1]

Members of theMinistry of Magic'sBeast Division, such asMathilda Grimblehawk's partner, would brew this potion usingAlihotsy leaves, driedbillywig stings,Peppermint,Stewed Mandrake, andInfusion of Wormwood. They would later consume this potion to assist them in their investigations.[3]
