TheVapidTrophy Truck is an off-road trophy truck featured inGrand Theft Auto Online as part of theCunning Stunts update.
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
The vehicle seems to be based on numerous trophy trucks typically used in competition for the Dakar rally racing and baja events, particularly the Ford Raptor baja trophy truck and more particularly, the Ford F-150 baja trophy truck.
The Trophy Truck features a sturdy, yet lightweight body, where the front area features a bumper guard fitted with two circular rally lights acting as the main lamps. The front clip is fitted with upper and side safety pins, which hinges from the front to reveal the truck's large V8 engine, surrounded by the roll-caging.
The cabin area features four high-beam rally lights on the roof, while each side of the vehicle has side-mounted, aluminum exhausts which run under the doors. It lack any sort of windows or rear-view mirrors. A roll cage is present by default, which is part of the tubular chassis.
On the rear area, the rear bed contains a large amount of roll-caging, as well as a dedicated rack to carry two spare wheels tied down with green ratchet straps, in a side-by-side positioning. The outer sides have body panels that are specially shaped to contain the aforementioned spare wheels. Behind the cabin is a radiator, and directly beside it are fire extinguishers, as well as side fuel hoses. The vehicle does not have functioning brake or tail lights.
The underside of the vehicle uses quad-shock absorbers on each axle, dampening impact to its extreme ride height, together with springs with internal shocks and additional hydraulic shocks. The front axle is protected by a diff cover and a front sump guard, as well as protective layers on the A-frame suspension. The rear axle sports semi-elliptical leaf springs and additional hinged shock absorbers running from the chassis to the axle itself.
The Trophy Truck includes many switches and buttons across the interior, and features a knob reading F/R, likely indicating a rear/four wheel drive locking diff. The steering wheel itself includes multiple buttons, and directly behind that are two paddles for an apparent semi-automatic paddle-shift gearbox. A large extended gear-shifter is centralized between the carbon-fiber racing seats. Also, a radio is seen located under the carbon-fiber dashboard.
The vehicle's bodywork, engine cam covers and the stitches on the steering wheel are painted in a primary color, while the tubular chassis, front bumper guard and cabin roll cage are painted in a secondary color. Although not accessible, a tertiary color is applied on the cage paddings, which is only available in black upon purchasing it, and are only painted in the corresponding color sets available inContent Creator. It uses a set of six-spoke rims similar to the "Endo v.2" rims available inLos Santos Customs, wrapped inAtomic high-profile, all-terrain radial tires with detailed tread patterns. Both the stock wheel rims and the spare wheel rims on the rear bed are painted with the "Wheel" color.
Both liveries have the same sponsors, although the Western Company livery adds the corresponding sponsor on it:
- Terroil
- Vapid
- Western Motorcycle Company (Western Motorcycle livery only)
- Xero

Performance[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
The vehicle's most notable advantage is its suspension, which is extremely loose and absorbs jumps and mounds of desert, giving the vehicle excellent off-roading capabilities. It has impressive acceleration and speed due to the engine. The weight of the rear tires and the location that they are in makes the vehicle's rear end spin out a lot around corners, so speed is not recommended when cornering. The Trophy Truck has a four wheel drive layout, giving it excellent traction and off-road abilities. One of its major setbacks, however, are the exposed tires due to the high ground clearance that makes it susceptible to gunfire or spike strips (unless if the truck is fitted with Bulletproof Tires). Its resistance to collisions is generally good, but can easily lose most of its body components and spare wheels in the process, leaving the vehicle almost in bare chassis.
The engine model appears to be a large V8 with two square air-filters located centrally on the block. The valve covers can be seen along with the roll cage. Two exhausts are seen coming from the engine, running down the side of the vehicle. In front of the engine, a large radiator with radiator fans is seen, placed directly in front of the camshaft cogs. The engine is setup with a single overhead cam configuration.
