Design[]
3D Universe[]
The RC Raider is essentially a dark green miniature remote-controlled helicopter with a small main rotor and rounded cabin. Like its counterpart, theRC Goblin, the RC Raider seems to be an original concept fromRockstar Games, as the helicopter does not take any inspiration from a real life helicopter.
The RC Raider also exists inGrand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, but it is never used in any of the missions and thus can only be obtained through a third-party hacking device or modification to spawn the helicopter.
Performance[]
3D Universe[]
Performance wise, the RC Raider is faster than the RC Goblin due to its ability to pitch steeper, but possesses far more sensitive controls that leaves the RC Raider prone to flying upside down. Much like the RC Goblin, the spinning blades of the RC Raider can be used to executeheli-kills onpedestrians. The blades also have a change in color fromGTA Vice City toGTA San Andreas. Its handling is overall comparable to that of theVCN Maverick fromGTA Vice City.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City[]
- The RC Raider can only be controlled through aTop Fun mission,RC Raider Pickup, that is available to take atEscobar International Airport.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas[]
- Zero is seen flying an RC Raider during the missionWear Flowers in Your Hair.
Trivia[]
General[]
- RC Raider is a play on the word "arse raider", a slang term for homosexual or a sexual offender.
- The vehicle seems to have a set texture in all the games it appears in, as it never spawns with the colors the game files assign to it.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas[]
- If the player kills Zero during the missionWear Flowers in Your Hair, he will drop adetonator (which was presumably repurposed to be a remote controller). However, if the player picks up the detonator and uses it, nothing will happen and it will disappear.
