Damon Garrett Riddick (born June 15, 1971), better known by his stage nameDâm-Funk (stylized asDāM-FunK; pronounced"Dame-Funk"), is an American funk musician, vocalist and producer from Pasadena, California.
Career[]
In 2007, Riddick signed with the L.A.-based record label Stones Throw Records.
In 2021, he was hired byRockstar Games to compose scores forThe Contract update forGrand Theft Auto Online.
On December 15, 2023, Riddick releasedDāM-FunK Presents The Music of Grand Theft Auto Online Original Score, an album featuring remixed/reimagined versions of theGrand Theft Auto Online official score, including tracks Riddick himself composed. The album appears in-game as theEven the Score mixtape, a pre-recordedWest Coast Classics 10th anniversary nightclub mix hosted by Riddick himself.
