The Cognoscenti 55 is the short variant of theCognoscenti, apparently inspired by thefirst-gen Bentley Continental Flying Spur due to its overall design and proportions.
The car retains most of the distinctive features from the Cognoscenti, but gains a shorter and somewhat sportier design. The front end of the car appears to be slightly more boxier than the normal Cognoscenti, while the front bumper gains a more aerodynamic design, with a small extension at the bottom, three meshed intakes and a license plate, though retaining the chrome quarter strips and lacking the small lamps. The upper area retains the same chrome meshed grille and the headlamp setup, and the bonnet remains similar in design, though lacking the vented portion in front of the windscreen.
The sides remain identical in design to the normal Cognoscenti, but the C-pillars are slightly taller and to a higher-degree upright, compensating for the lack of the rear window pillars from the long-wheelbase model. The chrome strip from the normal version is again seen in this vehicle, and the front arches seem to have a less flared profile.
The rear of the car retains the tail lamp setup and features from the Cognoscenti, but the bumper appears to have a more angled bottom, lacks the rear vented section and the chrome strip extends a bit further towards the sides, near the rear wheel arches. The boot seems to feature a small duct-tail spoiler, while the whole rear is less slanted in comparison to the normal version. The exhaust tubes are located below the rear bumper.
Colour distribution is the same as the regular Cognoscenti, where the primary colour is applied to the body and the interior stitching, while the secondary colour is applied on the bonnet, roof, pillars and boot. A trim colour is also available for the interior, being applied to the dashboard, seats and door panels. Its wheels use a set of rims similar to the "Supernova" SUV rims available inLos Santos Customs, wrapped in low-profile tyres. Seen behind the rims are silver brake disks with several lines grooved into the rotor and caliper.

Given the short wheelbase, the Cognoscenti 55 slightly improves over the originalCognoscenti, as it has acceptable rate of acceleration, impressive turning radius and good braking power, which is stunning for a vehicle of its size and weight. The vehicle also bears good traction, allowing it to gain control around corners at high speed without too much loss of control.
The engine cover seems to be a single-cam V8, coupled to a 5-speed gearbox which is low-geared and is further connected to a rear-wheel-drive drivetrain. The engine sound is the same as theTornado and theBullet.
