3D Universe[]
The Caddy in the3D Universe is seemingly based on early models of the Club Car Golf Cart DS, but with slightly altered front and rear ends.
InGrand Theft Auto: Vice City andGrand Theft Auto: San Andreas, the Caddy sports a relatively compact body with rectangular headlights, square tail lights and a small rear bumper, while the front and sides have black sections at the bottom. The cabin is mostly open and features support frames with a front windshield and a square-shaped roof, as well as small handles beside the seats. InGrand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, however, the Caddy appears to have a sloped frontage and a more elevated floor area, with the windshield being also closer to the roof panel.
The Caddy may spawn with an assortment of golf bags on the back (alternating between smaller and taller variations on the left or the right, sometimes with only one extra on one side), and is available in a variety of single colors, with theGTA San Andreas iteration also affecting the roof (while theGTA Vice City andGTA Vice City Stories models always have a white roof).

InThe Ballad of Gay Tony, the Caddy strongly resembles a Club Car Precedent, although the frontage is more square-shaped.
The vehicle retains its appearance and purpose from the 3D Universe iterations, but the front appears to have a small vent and most of the bottom area and wheel arches are finished in black, while the vehicle is also devoid of any light sources. The cabin area seems to be slightly more detailed and sports a larger windshield, ball holders on the dashboard, armrests/handles beside the seats and bag holders on the back (although no extra components on the back exist), as well as cup holders beside the rear support frames. A greenProLaps marking can be seen on the front.
The vehicle is set to spawn in a glossy white color and its wheels appear to be scaled down variations of the ones seen on theFortune.
Grand Theft Auto V andOnline[]
The Caddy, whose manufacturer is first identified as beingNagasaki, makes a return inGrand Theft Auto V andGrand Theft Auto Online. It assumes a cleaner appearance with a greyish color for the lower portions and sports updated "ProLaps" logos on the front and sides, while the armrest/handles beside the seats are removed. There are also golf balls on the small holders of the dashboard and twoJunk Energy Drink bottles on the side cup holders. When playingGolf, the Caddy provided during the activity may have two golf bags loaded on the back. The vehicle may spawn in either green, blue or grey primary colors for most of the body and retains the same wheel design.

3D Universe[]
The Caddy is very light, but also very slow, and it has a high center of gravity, causing it to take damage quickly, bounce around more violently and roll easily; as such, caution must be exercised when driving along a roadway where vehicles travel at high speeds. While the bottom-heavy weight distribution of the Caddy means that it is less likely to rest upside down after a roll, the Caddy may end up resting on its back, immobilizing it.
Since it has no doors, the player is particularly vulnerable when having awanted level, as the player will be instantaneously pulled out by a police officer andarrested if the Caddy is travelling at low speeds. Its light weight and slow speed also make it susceptible to any crashes with police cars.
The Caddy appears to be powered by an electric battery, as sparks will come out of the vehicle when damaged, similarly to theBaggage Handler.

The Ballad of Gay Tony[]
The Caddy is the slowest car in the game, with a top speed of 21 mph. It also takes less damage, and isvery easy to cripple, However, it possesses more heightened suspension and good hill climbing power, thanks to its weak, but effective RWD drivetrain.
Like theAirtug, the Caddy sports an engine that barely makes a sound, which can only be heard when driving in quiet areas and with the radio turned off. Said engine, although supposed to be located in the rear section of the vehicle (considering the large room for said component), it is actually placed on the front end, as fumes will come from the front if the Caddy is damaged.

The Caddy has a small electric engine which powers it up to basic speeds. It has decent acceleration, but a very low top speed. The Caddy is not meant to travel at high speeds, and as such, it is particularly unpredictable, seemingly alternating between understeer or oversteer. The small wheelbase gives it a very tight cornering radius at low speeds, though. Crash deformation is unsurprisingly poor, taking as little as one hit to be completely disabled. The low weight of the Caddy means it is knocked off the road by almost any other cars, especially large ones such as theSandking,Dubsta 6x6, orInsurgent.

- A caged Caddy appears in the missionPractice Swing. In said mission, an unnamedunion official is strapped to the vehicle and is forced to leak information toRocco Pelosi while tied to the vehicle. SinceLuis has to torture the union official by sending golf balls, the cage protects Rocco from the oncoming balls. This Caddy, which can be obtained with atrick, does not feature working doors, as anyone entering the caged caddy will enter as if it has no doors; the cage is merely a prop which can be toggled on or off.

- A "Caddy" in golf is someone who carries a player's bag and clubs from hole to hole, giving advice where needed. This references its purpose in the games it appeared.
3D Universe[]
- InGTA Vice City, the Caddy that is located in the bushes is not visible before entering it. Even if the player manages to see it in a helicopter (using the bottom-view camera), the Caddy is still "invisible".
- During thedevelopment ofGTA Vice City, the Caddy was simply known as theGolfcart.
- InGTA San Andreas, pulling apedestrian out of the Caddy results in the pedestrian gettingwasted.
- Ifhydraulics are installed on the Caddy, its body will levitate over the wheels once the hydraulics are activated as the Caddy lacks the model for axles with hydraulics.

- The vehicle always spawns dirty, and cannot be cleaned even with trainers.
- Although it is most likely an electric vehicle, Luis will "start" it and in addition a starter can be heard, which is most likely caused by a developer's oversight.
- Even if the Caddy lacks working external lights, the corresponding button to toggle the high beam lights still works as "normal" (since in cars with broken lights, the "change drive-by weapon" action should be performed at the same time).
- Unusually, the Caddy allowsprostitutes. However, the seats are a bit too close to each other, resulting in a dislocated positioning of the prostitute when performing the corresponding "actions", especially the first two, where this issue is apparent.
