The parlor is located on the corner ofArmadillo Avenue andZancudo Avenue inSandy Shores,Blaine County, north of theSandy Shores Medical Center andSandy Shores Sheriff's Station.

The parlor, established in 1971, consists of a red-brown, single-story building, which is in decrepit condition. On the building's south side is a large mural depicting an anchor piercing a heart. It is one of few accessible tattoo parlors inBlaine County, and offers the same tattoo options as all other parlors. The in-game websitewww.visitthealamosea.com incorrectly calls the studioThe Pit^[2] suggesting players could "tattoo their next of kin on their back at The Pit on Armadillo Avenue." There is no branding anywhere else to suggest this parlor is associated with the one inVespucci Beach.

The building is roughly based on the Desert Shores Auto Parts & Laundry, which was located on 3788 Scott Drive inDesert Shores, California.^[3]
