Thestart of the E1 Series inJeddah, Saudi Arabia, in early 2024, will mark the beginning of an exciting stage in the world of sustainable racing, with teams announcing their participation and accelerating their preparation in view of making their debut in thefirst 10% electric category of boat racing.
In that sense, the organization has decidedto launch the Pilot Academywith the aim of training a new generation of racing stars, where the search is on for both men and women with experience in a variety of sports, from motor and cycling to electronic, extreme and high-speed.
Those who apply will have the opportunity to test their mettle in the E1 Series, a competition that features distinguished team members suchas Rafa Nadal, Sergio “Checo” Perez, Didier Drogba and Tom Brady.
“It really will be an exciting time to see all the drivers come together in the new Pilot Academy. We are looking for pioneers and ambassadors who have racing in their blood, who can push the boundaries of a whole new form of racing and who will be integral in discovering how to get the most out of the Racebirds,”says Steve Curtis, E1 Series advisor.

The academy will be directed by Nina Dreier, a figure with an outstanding track record in the entertainment industry and sports marketing with previous experience in prestigious companies and categories such asRed Bull, Formula E and Extreme E, will bring knowledge that will benefit the drivers in training.
In this way, theE1 Series Pilot Academy presents itself as a unique platform for those who wish to enter the world of electric boat racing, with the opportunity to develop as elite drivers and compete on the global E1 Series stage.
