Dean Thomson, also known asGrahf, is a talented indie game developer and musician fromMelbourne,Australia. He is known for his focus on narrative-heavy adventure games that explore unusual subject matters, drawing heavily from noir cinema, 80s horror, and psychological thrillers.


Deanis a valued member of the small indie game studio "Bohemian Pulp", which is located in Serbia and was founded byDjordje and Jasmina Markovic. Currently, he is working on the studio's upcoming cyberpunk noir thriller "Let Bions Be Bygones", as well as his own video game re-imagining of the 1945 noir classic "Detour", which will also be released under the Bohemian Pulp banner.


Dean's debut project, "Road to Nowhere", was noted for its unique social themes in regard to depression and anxiety, as well as its stunning visual aesthetic. The game received critical acclaim and was nominated for an award at theNZ Games Festival in 2021.


Aside from his game development work, Dean is also a skilled musician and creates atmospheric soundscapes that perfectly complement his games' immersive narratives. His passion for storytelling and game design is evident in his work, which is characterised by intricate characters, engaging narratives, and challenging gameplay.
