They represent wide and diverse perspectives crossing geographic, cultural, economic, and ethnic borders and include most countries globally.

The Golden Globes are unique among award shows being the only premier award show honoring motion pictures, television, and podcast programs. Voters are expected to vote in all categories and adhere to rules and guidelines governing conduct and conflicts of interest to ensure impartiality.

Applications to become a voter are accepted once each year following the conclusion of the preceding Golden Globes.
