Garry Kimovich Kasparov is a Russian chess grandmaster, former World Chess Champion, writer, political activist and commentator.
Garry Kasparov is a politician, writer, journalist, critic, and chess player. He was born on April 13, 1963, in Baku. Kasparov holds citizenship in the Soviet Union, Russia, and Croatia and was educated at Azerbaijan University of Languages.
Kasparov is the founder of Kasparovchess and currently serves as the CEO of the company. He has written notable works such as "Winter Is Coming" and has been awarded the title of Merited Master of Sports of the USSR.
With multiple nationalities, Kasparov is a citizen of Russia, the Soviet Union, and Israel. He was a citizen of the Soviet Union and now resides in St. Louis, United States.
Kasparov is a father to children Aida Kasparova and Nikolay Kasparov. He is currently employed at Avast Software.
