Launch Schedule

JAXA has been developing and launching various scientific and practical satellites including meteorological andcommunication satellites, and they are useful for clarifying space science mysteries and for the benefit of ourdaily lives. JAXA continues its efforts to develop satellites that can contribute to acquiring cutting-edgetechnologies and solving global environmental problems. JAXA's technologies learned from such a developmentexperience and acquired data are utilized for the expansion of industry and for the improvement of our quality oflife. In addition, JAXA is also launching the “KOUNOTORI” (HTV), a pivotal cargo transporter to the InternationalSpace Station. The transportation means for satellites and space transporters to go to space are launch vehicles. The following is the launch schedule of JAXA’s satellites and transporters for future space development andtechnological research.
