Flexible HiDPI scaling - Paid/Free#5108
-
I was readingthe wiki, to see what is included and not. I was wondering, what does this option mean? ![]() I want to have HighDPI with a custom resolution, so I don't know if I need to buy a license or not. Thanks for clarifying! I bought a license already in the past but unfortunately it got expired. |

You can use the outdated license if you don't want to get a new one and upgraded your earlier installation (you'll get a warning about it being outdated, but that's it). Flexible scaling is this:https://github.com/waydabber/BetterDisplay/wiki/Fully-scalable-HiDPI-desktop#setting-up-flexible-scaling |

You can install v3, activate, upgrade to v4 to get around that. If you created a custom resolution, the app will enable HiDPI, Pro is not needed for that. If you don't need any Pro features, you are fine running the no-pro version. But during the trial all Pro features are still enabled. |
