As discussed in#9168 , drop the support for special "text" digest handling on Windows, since it is a legacy feature

It seems we have some tests for the feature

Yup, I was waiting for the CI to show every failing test so I can handle them, since I can't reproduce 😅

I will finish the PR in the weekend
