GNU’s Make is a great piece of software, and I would consider it a necessity for being able to self-host a Linux distribution. In fact, it’s a requirement to build a Linux kernel properly. I think it would be a great addition to the Uutils project. Additionally, it’s a neat way to showcase the advancements of the project.
