This project is dedicated to analysis of the real estate market in my hometown of Spokane, WA. I'm working on both statistical analysis and visualization of data showing how and where people live. Also included is development of machine learning models predicting home prices, rent, etc.
Most data is sourced directly from Spokane County. We're fortunate that the county hasan ArcGIS site with downloadable data. The following data is readily available, and mostly in a usable state for analysis:
- Parcel information
- Recent home sales
- Past annual home sales (2018,2017,2016, etc.)
- Assessment ($) data
A number of ongoing projects will be hosted in this Github repo. Some of these include the following:
- Parcel taxpayer analysis
- Home sale price predictive modelling
- Recent home sale dashboards
- Crime and location, home value, etc. relationship visualization
My work in this project is licensed under theCreative Commons Attribution Share Alike 4.0 International license. Data available from public sources is licensed independently - please consult data publishers before using the data.
