Hey! I see that this is your first PR. That is great! Welcome! Symfony has acontribution guide which I suggest you to read. In short:
Review the GitHub status checks of your pull request and try to solve the reported issues. If some tests are failing, try to see if they are failing because of this change. This pull request introduces a new optional flag for the
ObjectNormalizer
which causes it to behave in a more consistent way, using recursive calls to the user provided Normalizers, rather than using the alternative implementations provided in theAbstractObjectNormalizer
. In this mode, the user may be required to provide additional Normalizers than they would have needed to with the inconsistent current behaviour, but those additional Normalizers should not effect the behaviour of existing usages.This pull request is incomplete - as I am requesting feedback on the approach that I'm taking.
