(Sorry for writing this message in Spanish, but it's about how to precisely translate some words into Spanish and therefore, it'simpossible to discuss it properly in English)

Marc, es cierto que "ancho" se admite como sinónimo de "anchura", pero si te fijas en el diccionario de la RAE, verás que "ancho" casi siempre se usa como adjetivo (ej:imagen ancha) en vez de como sustantivo (el ancho de la imagen). En cualquier caso, no te estoy pidiendo que lo cambies, ya que primero habría que preguntar a otros hispanohablantes si les suena mejor "ancho de la imagen" o "anchura de la imagen". A mí me suena mejor "anchura", pero claro, es sólo una opinión y puede cambiar mucho de una zona a otra y de un país a otro.

Por cierto, gracias por mejorar el resto de traducciones porque ahora sí que está mucho mejor.

Ostras, pues la verdad es que almenos en la zona de por aquí me suena mucho mejorancho. A ver que opina la gente :)

A mi personalmente me suena mejor "el ancho de la imagen" aunque creo que ambas son correctas y su uso variara según la región. Sí os sirve de apunte son español y andaluz.

Por acá en México es común utilizar "anchura". Sin embargo "el ancho de..." es igual o incluso más utilizado así que me inclino por considerar que "ancho" es la elección adecuada.

@fabpot Both ways seem to be acceptable, but new one seems to be more accepted :) If@javiereguiluz is not against that, I think you can merge it :)

👍 Besides, the new form is much more accepted in America, where most of the world's Spanish-speaking people live.
