Hello fellow developers!

My name is Samuel Majok... but I usually go by SamiiE in pretty much all the virtual places.

I've been curious about Open Source lately, when a Computer Science senior of mine introduced me to some message boards where people shared code. I tried participating, but there was something that I couldn't wrap my head around. At that time, my only experience with programming was, writing HTML, CSS and some Javascript, C++ for my assignments.

Shortly after signing up for GitHub, I made the decision that I was going to go all in on JavaScript because there was a thing called Node.js that could run JavaScript on the server! To me, that meant I could create some applications and websites to help build a business.

All that being said... I'm horrible at self-promotion and asking for money, but I've been given the opportunity to be part of the GitHub sponsor program, so I'm putting myself out there.

It would mean a lot to me as a self taught developer and it would be a source of greater motivation
