Hello!
My name is Andy Pan and I'm a part-time independent open-source developer who has and continues to devote plenty of effort to open-source software.

I initially started my programming journey in college by pitching intoC. Later on, I successively engaged inQt/C++,ASP.NET/C#,PHP/JS/HTML/CSS,Android/Java,Web/Python, etc.

Nowadays, my prime programming languages areGo andC, I am the creator and current maintainer ofants - the most widely used goroutine pool for Go andgnet - the fastest and most popular third-party networking framework in Go. In addition to my personal open-source projects, I have also contributed code to many world-renowned open-source projects, such asGo programming language, redis, istio, kubernetes, etc.

Here are some open-source projects that I have been working on:

As the creator

  • ants: ants is a high-performance and low-cost goroutine pool in Go.
  • gnet: gnet is a high-performance, lightweight, non-blocking, event-driven networking framework written in pure Go.

As the contributor/committer

  • go: The Go programming language.go.dev
  • redis: Redis is an in-memory database that persists on disk.
  • curl
  • libuv: Cross-platform asynchronous I/O.
  • fasthttp: Fast HTTP package for Go. Tuned for high performance.
  • istio: An open platform to connect, manage, and secure microservices.
  • gin: Gin is a HTTP Web framework written in Go.
  • kubernetes: Production-Grade Container Scheduling and Management.
  • fiber: Express inspired web framework written in Go.
  • libevent: Event notification library.

Currently, my open-source work is primarily ongo, redis, andgnet, by which simple, secure, and scalable systems can be built with ease; focusing on delivering infrastructures for developers to conduct their business work withGo andC.

Suppose you have ever benefited from my open-source software/blogs and would like to show your support for the sustainability of my open-source projects. In that case, you're welcome to become one of my GitHub sponsors.

Thank you for the generous financial backing here!
