Proposed changes

  • Updated runtime version reference from Node.js v18 to v20 (current LTS).
  • Replaced dated phrasing (“On March 26, 2024…”) with evergreen language: “Segment Functions run on the Node.js LTS runtime (currently v20).”
  • Clarified that functions automatically use the new runtime after redeployment.
  • Retained language on LTS support policy/dependency limits/post-deployment testing.

Merge timing

  • ASAP once approved
