I added theDebug derive to types inrust-i2cdev a while ago but was not released. We have done that now.
Could you update therust-i2cdev dependency to version 0.6.2? Then we should not need the placeholder for inner here.
Could you also add an entry to the changelog about this PR?
Debugwas not implemented forI2cdev, this led to an error where I could not use thei2c_character_displaycrate to initialize my 16x2 LCD.
