Hello. Long-time Inter user, first time exploration into the world of serifs. I am swapping the numeric characters for Inter to monospace (achieved) and want to also swap the 1 character to the alternative serif version in Figma. Is there a special trick to achieve this? I believe the serif version to be theSS01 version of the font. I thought maybe turning on Disambiguation the 1 character might get the serif, but it only does the capital i. ![]() |

Does Figma support Character Variants? It does work with Tabular Figures ( If Figma does not support Character Variants the only way would be to "freeze" the feature into your own version of the font. |

@kenmcd Thank you for getting back to me. I don't think Figma allows this level of customisation. It looks like I can only toggle one character between the original and CV01 versions (see attached). How would you recommend "freezing" the feature into your own font version? And importantly, would this work when displaying the font on web-based applications on other users' machines, or would that revert to the original version of Inter? ![]() |

Your image is a bit odd. For web purposes you would need to host the modified v4.1 fonts yourself. |
