El oriignal comienza en minúscula porque el nombre "zlib" no se capitaliza; de lo contrario deberíamos seguir la regla normal de ortografía y comenzar con mayúscula.
No hace falta tampoco arreglar los espacios para que queden exactamente igual al original (a no ser que sea texto pre-formateado).

Es poco obvio, pero por lo general cuando vas por el archivo .po, llegas hacia el final, y ves que las últimas entradas son todas de muy pocas palabras, entonces ya es un hint de que son entradas del índice global.
Y si ves el archivo .po así en crudo, te puedes fijar que las líneas que referencian estas entradas en los archivos .rst son todasmenores o iguales a la última entrada que sí está en orden.
Me explico: Esta entrada traduce el archivo zlib.rst en la línea 123. La entrada anterior traduce el archivo en la línea 342 (y la anterior a esa también en la 342, y la anterior a esa en la 339, etc...). Es decir, esta entrada está fuera de orden, y ese es el hint más definitivo que hemos logrado usar para identificar un poco mejor que estas entradas correponden a entradas del índice global.
El PR en#2706 justamente apunta a usar esta propiedad de que las entradas están fuera de orden para encontrarlas y posiblemente traducirlas todas "en inglés" para dejar de crear confusiones.

Lamentablemente en esta ocasión la decisión de dejar "traducido en inglés" tiene prioridad. Puedes ver más detalles en el PR al que me referí antes, y en particular en este comentario:#2706 (comment).

No, sólo estas entradas que corresponden al índice global (como ésta y la anterior) se dejan sin traducir, en el resto del archivo esta bien que la traducción esté como corresponde y que sigamos la memoria de traducción.
