@mmmarcos mirando la documentación de Pythonhttps://raw.githubusercontent.com/python/cpython/master/Doc/library/ssl.rst, este Texto cambió e incluso usaron OpenSSL tal como lo mencionas. Me parece que está bien que uses OpenSSL para ser coherente con el resto de la docu. Igualmente en algún momento esta parte se va a cambiar.

No encontré el artículo en español para esta página:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Application-Layer_Protocol_Negotiation
En realidad por cohérencia debería haberlo dejado sin traducir que es lo que hice en los otros links donde no encontré artículo en español.
La guía para contribuir dice:
Si traduces un título que es un enlace, por favor traduce el link también (por ejemplo un artículo a Wikipedia). En caso de que no haya una traducción del artículo en Wikipedia deja el título sin traducir.

Bueno finalemente lo dejé en español porque la frase entera resulta extraña si el título del artículo está en inglés.
Creo que de todas maneras se entiende bien.
