Do you plan to use the project ontransifex?

It has many benefits, it is easy to find translators, more accessible, no burden of prs etc. There are however both abn_IN andbn project (the latter with more translations) and from what I can tell using either should be fine since Bengali is mainly used in India anyway, but it is up to you.

Setting up a repository is quite simple with python-docs-translations/transifex-automations'ssample workflows and theirdocumentation (a sample usage can also be foundhere). Set up is quite simple, copy the workflows, replaceXX withbn_IN and add a TX api key to secrets, the docs have details and helpful links.

Since this repo has no translations, wiping it will probably be easier. The transifex also has some translations to get you started.

You can then message me your username and I will add you as coordinator of the project in transifex, though please do request to join as a translator, since I need to promote an existing translator (otherwise is messy).
