Theflow chart in the logging HOWTO is very helpful in understanding how the logging module works. However, the flow chart does not make clear why a logger with no configured handlers can still emit records.

The reason islastResort, which is used if no handlers are found in the logger hierarchy as documented further down in the HOWTO:https://docs.python.org/3/howto/logging.html#what-happens-if-no-configuration-is-provided.

I suggest updating the flow chart to include it.
