Closes#22663.

Since the example I kept already included a Tex example and a path example, the other is basically redundant. I decided to use the "clubsuit" Tex symbol as I think it's more interesting than alpha. For the path, I think the simple 4-point path is easier to understand, so used that. Also expanded the comments a bit, partly by cribbing from the removed example.
