sphinxext.missing_references does not specify if it supports parallel file read. #15075

As a result, sphinx deactivates parallel file reads, which significantly slows down doc builds on my maching.@alexrudy can you please comment on this, or maybe even provide a PR?

sphinxext.missing_references was introduced in#14768.
