Libyui is a widget abstraction library providing Qt, GTK and ncursesfrontends. Originally it was developed forYaSTbut it can be used in any independent project.

This part contains the YaST GTK package management widget.The base GTK part is located in a separatelibyui-gtk repository.

Libyui uses CMake, driven by a slightly complex set ofCMakefiles. Forreproducible builds it is best to use thelibyui-rake Ruby gem like theJenkins CI jobs do.

It can be installed fromrubygems.orgusing this command (Ruby needs to be installed in the system):

gem install libyui-rake

Then to build the package run:

rake osc:build
