Hi,
It is nice you're learning JavaScript.

Would you please follow these recommendations?

  • Try to translate as close as possible:
For instance, not 'book' for 'site'.
The title 'Specification' is in the singular form. Although, sometimes we need to change this for a more suitable translation, in this case ECMA is the specification body for JavaScript.

  • Try to keep the punction marks, as much as possible:
    For instance, 'This book is a tutorial. It aims...';
here, there are two separate sentences.

  • Keep the same verb tense throught the page:
For instance, as you use 'você', change 'te ajudar' to 'lhe ajudar'...

  • Try to follow the context words:
For instance, in 'It defines the language.', it is the specification, so perhaps it could be
    'Ela define a linguagem.'

  • As suggested by the site author, try to keep a general Portuguese version:
    For instance, from '...é lançada todo ano.' to '...é lançada todos os anos.';
for a better comprehension, not throughout a year, but each year.

I expect to continue reviewing. Meanwhile, would you please implement these and similar changes until my possible next review, which I hope to be soon?

Thanks.

@odsantos, thank your for your review.
But I have some questions:

  • The suggestion '... [de uma] {da} fonte de informação {mais} confiável ...' doesn't souns good in brazilian portuguese, so I take de freedom to change the order, now I think it makes more sense.
  • To where the link of '... na {include link}segunda parte do tutorial.' should redirect? To the article in repo? To the page?

Hi,
You first translation was really good.

Would you please, consider these changes:
*Note: [ ] - delete; { } - add/change; please remove the bold, as well.

  • '...lhe ajudar a aprender {gradualmente} a linguagem [gradualmente].'
  • '...e formalizadas informações sobre [o] JavaScript.'
  • '...lançada todos os ano{s}.'
  • '...mais novas funcionalidades (bleeding-edge features{)} [também chamada "de estágio 3")], {incluindo as} que estão em fase de padronização {(também chamadas de "estágio 3")}...'
  • 'Para verificar o suporte dessas funcionalidades entre interpretadores {(JavaScript engines) - please remove the bold here} {para} [em - I asked this before, but was wrong. Thank you.] browsers ou {para} [em - I asked this before, but was wrong. Thank you.] outras aplicações,...'
  • '... detalhes da linguagem,detalhes,seu suporte, etc.'
  • '... lembre-se deles (ou desta página) {quando} [nos casos em que - I asked this before, but was wrong. Thank you.] precisar de informações ...'

Thank you.

Hi,

I answered you with regards to the link.

It is done.
However, if you could append the following changes for its improvement, I would appreciate.

In the end, I will ask you if there is anything you would like to suggest for its improvement, or if I might merge your good work.

Thank you.
Regards,
Osvaldo.

## Especificação

A [Especificacão ECMA-262](https://www.ecma-international.org/publications/standards/Ecma-262.htm) contém as mais profundas, detalhadas e formalizadas informações sobre JavaScript. Ela define a linguagem.

I think there is no comma here. See these examples:

As these examples show, the last term is preceded by an "e" conective without comma.

Mas estando num formato mais formal, fica difícil de entender à primeira vista. Porém, se você precisa da mais confiável fonte de informações sobre detalhes da linguagem, está no lugar certo. Mas não é para o uso cotidiano.

Here, I replaced the "mas" from the last sentence with "contudo" to avoid repetition. Is it alright?

## Manuais

- **MDN (Mozilla) JavaScript Reference** é um manual com exemplos e outras informações. É ótimo para um entendimento sobre funções e métodos da linguagem, etc.

"MDN (Mozilla) JavaScript Reference" is not a vocative. So, I think there is no comma here.

I think that "...funções e métodos da linguagem" sounds more correct because the text is saying that you can findfunctions of the languageandmethods of the language. If we separate with comma, it sounds like "... functions [of what?], methodsof the language...". What do you think?

- **MSDN** - Manual da Microsoft com muitas informações, incluindo JavaScript (frequentemente referido como JScript). Se precisar de algo específico para o Internet Explorer, é melhor ir por aqui: <http://msdn.microsoft.com/>.

Assim como no manual da Mozilla, também podemos fazer uma busca na internet com frases do tipo "RegExp MSDN" ou "RegExp MSDN jscript".

I think there is no comma before the "ou" conective. I found examples here:

Para verificar o suporte dessas funcionalidades entre interpretadores de JavaScript (*JavaScript engines*) para browsers ou para outras aplicações, veja em:

- <http://caniuse.com> - mostra uma tabela de compatibilidade por funcionalidade, ex., para verificar quais interpretadores suportam funções de criptografia moderna: <http://caniuse.com/#feat=cryptography>.
- <https://kangax.github.io/compat-table> - uma tabela com funcionalidades da linguagem e os interpretadores que as suportam ou não.

Like the examples from my comment above, I think there is no comma here.

Hi,

Would you please consider these changes?

Thanks.

Pode ser encontrado em <https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript/Reference>.

Porém, às vezes é melhor fazer uma busca na internet. Apenas use "MDN [termo]" na busca, por exemplo, <https://google.com/search?q=MDN+parseInt> para procurar pela função `parseInt`.

Hi,

The only request I hadn't asked you, seems to be "... as suas propostas ...".
Besides that, I appreciate you translation for such good quality.

Thank you very much.
