Conversion from ANSEL to UTF-8 is fully supported.

ANSI/NISOZ39.47,also known as ANSEL, is a character set encoding used primarily forbibliographic and genealogical data. It is used in library systems worldwide and is one of the official characterencodings supported by theGedcom5.5standard.
