Etn provides functionality to access data from theEuropean TrackingNetwork (ETN) database hosted by theFlanders Marine Institute (VLIZ) as part of the Flemish contribution toLifeWatch. ETN data is subject to theETN datapolicy andcan be:
- restricted: under moratorium and only accessible to logged-in dataowners/collaborators
- unrestricted: publicly accessible without login and routinelypublished to international biodiversity facilities
The ETN infrastructure currently requires the package to be run withintheLifeWatch.be RStudio server, whichis password protected. A login can be requested athttp://www.lifewatch.be/etn/contact.
You can install the development version of etn fromGitHub with:
# install.packages("devtools")devtools::install_github("inbo/etn")
