Thank you for your interest in LPVPN. HoweverDiscord has deprecated their game SDK, leaving this project in limbo. I've created another projectPartyLAN which is the same concept but using Steam instead.
Have you ever wanted to play a classic game with your friends but notable to because you or your friends cannot get a LAN or VPN set up?
LAN Party VPN (LPVPN) to the rescue! LPVPN allows you to create a VPNover Discord so you can set up a VPN in seconds. No installationrequired!
Go toReleasesand download one of the precompiled exes.For most people this should be the
x86_64version.Run the downloaded file. Ask your friends to do the same.For Host (Yourself): Click
Host,For Clients (Your friends on Discord): ClickJoin.For Host (Yourself): Click
Inviteto invite friends on Discord.Use your Discord client to select which users to invite.For Clients (Your friends on Discord): Accept the invitation in Discord.
You are good to go! Your IP address will be shown in the UI. The VPNwill be disconnected once you close the Application.
Most LAN-capable games should already be supported.The list shows the ones tested and known to work.Open a PR to add more supported games to the list.
