This working group is a subcommittee of theGraphQL Working Group with thefollowing primary purpose:
To builda specificationthat covers many of the shared concerns when building a larger GraphQL schemaas a composite of many smaller GraphQL schemas.
The resulting work-in-progress "GraphQL Composite Schemas Specification" can befound in atgraphql/composite-schemas-spec.
Anyone in the public GraphQL community may attend a meeting of thissubcommittee, provided they first sign theSpecification Membership Agreementor belong to an organization which has signed.
This repository holdsagendas andnotes for all meetingspast and upcoming as well asshared RFC documents. Anyone may edit anupcoming event's agenda toattend orpropose an agenda item.
All meetings occur via video conference, however participating company officesare welcome to host guests.
Meetings are typically scheduled at 1500 UTC on the 2nd Thursday of the month.Check theagendas for the exact date and time of upcoming meetings.

We're always looking for volunteers to help take notes from the meetings, theresults of which are shared innotes/
. If you're interested intaking notes, sign up for a meeting inagendas/
and indicate thatyou're willing to be a note taker.
Meetings with many participants, especially over video, can easily get hard tofollow or run off course. When we talk about issues we care about, it's easy toget into heated debate. In order to respect everyone's time, and arrive toworthwhile outcomes, this subcommittee follows the"Participation guidelines" in the GraphQL Working Group;a summary of which is:
- Participate
- Don't talk too much
- Volunteer to take notes
- Have an outcome in mind
- Contribute
- Choose your battles
- Champion alternatives
- Block progress as a last resort
- Be patient and persistent
