Summer '24 ☀️ Status Update#1026

July was quiet but I will be able to work a 15+ hours a week in the first half of August, and most of September. That means a stable Graffle version should be released this year, with pre-releases starting perhaps as soon as a few weeks from now.

If you're curious to see progress leading up to the initial Graffle release this is a good issue to track:#1025. You can track the next documentation currently athttps://github.com/jasonkuhrt/graphql-request/blob/main/DOCUMENTATION_NEXT.md.

I would like to release a logo and website to mark this significant reboot ofgraphql-request.

If you want to help, then the number one most accessible thing I can suggest is simply trying to use the new library in your projects and letting me know what issues you hit, be they usability, types, runtime bugs, documentation, or other.

I'm looking forward to delivering something that will delight your data fetching code writing experiences! :)

A work in progress website can be found here. Most of the content is still missing. I however did get the foundation going, including getting Twoslash working so that developers can see type information right in the docs.

https://jasonkuhrt.github.io/graphql-request

The URL will soon change tohttps://graffle.js.org.

I created a milestone to help track the initial Graffle release.

This is great, really excited about the prospects of this project. If we want to try this out to give you feedback, what's the best way to install it? Thegraffle package on npm is just a stub.
