PINPal would be a lot more useful if you could run it in the background as a proper daemon, and actually prompt the user via notifications and such.
This should be a multi-step process:
- switch scheduling to use Fritter #8
- add auto-start toggle using
enableRelaunchOnLogin#7 - add a less silly NSStatusMenu item label #23
- adopt behavior of SometimesBackground from Pomodouroboros #24
- switch to being a package rather than a single-file module #3
- add a py2app configuration #4
- implement a basic menu-bar app using QuickMacApp #6
- add a GUI list view to show the list of memorizations in progress #9
- hook up a 'rehearse' action that prompts the user to memorize via the mac UI #10
- some UI features #16
- fix the GUI tests by installing the Sparkle framework in github actions #21
