• Install the React DevTools(Chrome(recommended),Firefox)
• Experience with React and all hooks

Here are some resources you can read before taking the workshop to get you up tospeed on some of the tools and concepts we'll be covering:

• Analyze runtime performance
• Performance features reference
• Profile a React App for Performance

• git v2.18 or greater
• NodeJS v20 or greater
• npm v8 or greater

All of these must be available in yourPATH. To verify things are set upproperly, you can run this:

git --versionnode --versionnpm --version

If you have trouble with any of these, learn more about the PATH environmentvariable and how to fix it here forwindows ormac/linux.

Use the Epic Workshop CLI to get this setup:

npx --yes epicshop@latest add react-performance

If you experience errors here, please openan issue with as manydetails as you can offer.

Once you have the setup finished, you can start the app with:

npm start
