sRGB/HDR settings/HDR Screensharing#6257

Unanswered
Discussion options

I have noticed that when using monitors/GPUs that support HDR or have those settings enabled, the image appears oversaturated in Discord streams, while it looks normal on the monitor itself. To test this, I streamed with two different accounts and checked how the stream appeared. (When viewing your own stream, everything is displayed correctly without compression, etc.) I encounter a similar problem with screenshots in Chrome, but there is an option to switch the color profile to sRGB, which fixes the issue. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a similar setting for Discord streams. I would appreciate it if you could look into this issue or let me know if there is a solution.
I have attached a screenshot that illustrates how the colors appear incorrectly.
On my secondary monitor, which doesn't support HDR, streams appear as expected, so I'm sure the issue is connected to HDR. It seems to be a known issue, but I couldn't find a fix or a thread in github that discusses this topic, so here I am writing at the suggestion of Discord support.
