A Personal SwitchyOmega Proxy List of Selected Sites

Note that the purpose of this list is, has always been, and will always bepersonal use, meaning:

1. I have no responsibility nor intention whatsoever to act as your tech support.
2. The sites on this list are limited to the ones I use, which is a very small subset of the set of all problematic sites. It most certainlywill not cover all the sites you visit.

That being said, if you still want to use this list, simply set the raw URL of the list as yourRule List URL in your Switch Profile.

An abridged list of banned (or not practically usable) sites in China.

• This listdeliberately excludes sites that are primarily pornographic in nature (sites likeTwitter which merely allow such content do not count). You can chain your own list if you want those.
• Some domains that are not technically-banned are also included, if they satisfy any of the following conditions:
  • Site owner bans all visitors with an IP within mainland China (e.g.lanshack.com).
  • Site almost always times out (e.g.lidarusa.com).
  • Site is only intermittently banned (e.g.github.com).
  • The domain is closely-associated with a banned site (e.g.twitchcdn.net).
  • Site is almost guaranteed going to be banned soon due to its nature (e.g.itemfix.com).
  • Site should really only be visited via a proxy for obvious reasons (e.g.chinafirewalltest.com).

• The metric for what defines "slow" iscompletely arbitrary to my personal liking. Your mileage may vary, depending on your location and network condition.
