Workspaces

Many developers want to enter a repo URL and get into a workspace that is already configured to work with the repo. We're working on a first-class flow that supports this. The specific details are TBD, but developers will be able to see a list of their repositories from the Coder dashboard and then click one to enter/create a workspace.

Templates

We often recommend source-controlling templates with git. With Coder's git integration, Coder will help keep templates in sync with git by auto-forking starter templates and making commits when the template is modified in the template editor.

Note for Enterprise users

Both of these features can be disabled or modified to work with self-hosted or Enterprise git providers.
