What is your suggestion?

Update Terraform to 1.1.9 from 1.1.7. We currently default to version 1.1.7 if no existingterraform binary is found.

Why do you want this feature?

There have been a number of CLI crash fixes in 1.1.8 and 1.1.9:

• 1.1.8 changelog
• 1.1.9 changelog

Are there any workarounds to get this functionality today?

Manually install the desired terraform version.
