Is it possible to use mosh with coder?#16620

mosh is a great alternative to ssh, however, itdoesn't supportProxyCommand. Although we can directly use the IP, mymosh-client fails to connect to themosh-server on the coder instance, most likely since the UDP port 60001 is firewalled (I could be wrong).

I was wondering if I'm missing something obvious and someone has insight as to how I can get this working. Any guidance or workarounds would be appreciated!

Someonetried using it withcoder port-forward, but it looks like it's buggy.

We are releasingcoder-desktop formacOS andWindows along with the next Coderv2.20 release, which could work withmosh.

Coder Desktop establishes a VPN connection to your workspace so you can use your existing OpenSSH client without relying onProxyCommand.
