Authing CLI with SAML? Resource protected by organization SAML enforcement#11546

I am spinning up codespaces headlessly, nightly as part of our e2e tests. In the logic, I leverage thegh CLI to do various things including force deleting the codespace at the end of the test. The codespaces are automatically injected with aGITHUB_TOKEN with the correct permissions.

All was working perfectly until my org enabled SAML. Now thegh commands like this:gh repo set-default $GITHUB_REPOSITORY are failing with this message:

GraphQL: Resource protected by organization SAML enforcement. You must grant your OAuth token access to this organization. (repo_000), Resource protected by organization SAML enforcement. You must grant your OAuth token access to this organization. (repo_001.parent)

Obviously I can't manually intervene in these nightly headless tests. How can I resolve this to restore functionality?
