I have a pending PR#66116 that majorly refactors this file. I suspect it'll bemuch easier to land mine first, since this is just a copy + rename, right?

I added the blocked label until yours goes in
This will replace the `[field]` directive, since `[field]` is a verygeneric name for signal forms to commandeer
Hooks up the `formField` direcive to get the same treatment as the`field` directive in the compiler.
