CloudBot is a simple, fast, expandable open-source Python IRC Bot!

You have a few options for getting the bot, you can:

• Clone themain branch of this repository, usinggit pull to update
• Download thelatest source
• Download thelatest release

Firstly, CloudBot will only run onPython 3.10 or higher

To install CloudBot on *nix (linux, etc), seehere

To install CloudBot on Windows, seehere

Before you run the bot, renameconfig.default.json toconfig.json and edit it with your preferred settings. You can check if your JSON is valid usingjsonlint.com!

Once you have installed the required dependencies and renamed the config file, you can run the bot! Make sure you are in the correct folder and run the following command:

python3 -m cloudbot

The CloudBot documentation is currently somewhat outdated and may not be correct. If you need any help, please visit ourIRC channel and we will be happy to assist you.

The developers reside in#gonzobot-dev onSnoonet and would be glad to help you.
