Changes made to the API/auth content as part of milestone 2 of the Node Revamp project.

I tweaked some other wording for consistency/addressing occasional confusions:

• consistency using "frontend"/"backend" as adjectives and separate words when used as nouns
• avoiding the word "monorepo" - very minor thing but a few people have ended up down rabbit holes exploring things like npm workspaces or Nx after searching stuff like "how to make a monorepo"
• simplifying some steps to avoid overspecifying (people have sometimes overthought these as a result)
