I'm Stevie, a freelance front-end developer and creator of HangTime, a climbing training app. I build web apps and tools for climbers, blending my passion for bouldering with web technology. My projects include training apps, Bluetooth device integrations, and tools for interactive climbing boards. I have over a decade of experience delivering e‑commerce front‑ends and hold a B.A. in Communication & Multimedia Design from Avans University in Breda, Netherlands.

HangTime is a community‑driven hangboard training app designed to help climbers build finger strength through personalised routines. With thousands of users on Android and iOS, it offers training plans, a large community and access to over 400 hangboards from more than 100 climbing brands.

As an independent sole proprietor, I work with clients on clearly scoped assignments (project or milestone based). I have a strong track record in the climbing industry building custom training tools and integrating Bluetooth sensors but I also take on front-end projects in other sectors.

I work with full technical autonomy, using my own hardware and development environment. Engagements are defined by scope, milestones, and deliverables rather than fixed hours or day-to-day supervision. This lets me run multiple projects at the same time, keeping a clear distinction between an external specialist and an embedded team member.
