Odoo Apps can be used as stand-alone applications, but they also integrate seamlessly so you geta full-featuredOpen Source ERP when you install several Apps.

If you are a developer type the following command at your terminal:

wget -O- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/odoo/odoo/master/odoo.py | python

Then followthe developer tutorial

• Debian packages

  Add this apt repository to your /etc/apt/sources.list file

    deb http://nightly.openerp.com/8.0/nightly/deb/ ./

  Then type:

    $ sudo apt-get update  $ sudo apt-get install odoo

  If you plan to use Odoo with a local database, please make sure to install PostgreSQLbefore installing the Odoo Debian package.

• RPM package

To add the odoo-dev remote use this command:

$ ./odoo.py setup_git_dev

To fetch odoo merge pull requests refs use this command:

$ ./odoo.py setup_git_review
